player winamp is shutting down after completing 15 years service.AOL announced
that this player will be removed on December 20 after that the users cant
download it from the website.Nobody can tell about the reason behind this
sudden shutting down, Its heared that because of bad acquisition of AOL
management in application development.Winamp was purchased by AOL in june 1999
for aproximate $80 million.In june 2000 winamp reached 25 million registered
users

unfortunately the users turned in to another media players such as foobar 2000
and clementine....Winmap support about 60 audio video formats.Its available in
two versions such as Winmap standared and winamp pro.In 1997 the first version
of winamp 0.20a launched as freeware after including more feautures it launched
as shareware.The latest version is winamp 5.66.AOL get 6 million dollars per
year from winamp.
